Background

The DEBS Online Portal was originally created for clients to submit documents safely and securely. The ssadocupload.sccgov.org website was established for clients to access. Before this, clients would submit documents via email, which compromised the client's Personal Identifiable Information (PII).

The DEBS Online Portal is also known as the:

  • Document Portal, or
  • Online Portal, or
  • Online Document Upload Portal.

Changes

The DEBS Online Portal will be decommissioned effective 02/28/2025. Staff should immediately refer clients to BenefitsCal 

for document submission instead. All other modalities, such as submitting by mail or in-person, remain safe and secure ways for clients to submit documents.

Forms & Reference Material 

Lobby posters and forms will be revised to remove mention of the DEBS Online Portal. The Voicemail Phone Script has been revised and no longer mentions the document portal. If staff has not done so already, staff must update their voicemail to remove mention of the DEBS Online Portal. 

Other Handbooks

The majority of information regarding the DEBS Online Portal was located in the Common Place Handbook, and the Common Place Handbook has been revised to remove mention of the DEBS Online Portal. The Clerical Handbook has also been revised accordingly.
