Requests for a Recovery Account
Requests to edit, void, terminate, suspend, refund benefits, or issue a Notice of Action related to a recovery account may be requested from the State, the Department of Tax and Collections (DTAC), or staff from within the Social Services Department (i.e., Appeals, CATS, or Program).

Assignment of Recovery Account-Requests
If a Recovery Account was Created by an... | The Task is Assigned to... |
IEVS Eligibility Examiner (EE) | The IEVS EE who created the Recovery Account. |
Eligibility Worker (EW) |
The EW who is assigned to the program or the district office that last had the program whether the program is denied, discontinued, or unassigned. |
When the Recovery Account is created by an EW, review the program status for Task assignment in the chart below.
If the Program Status is... | Then... |
Active and Assigned | Assign the Task to the current EW. |
Active and Unassigned Discontinued or Closed | Contact the district office Task assignment Point of Contact (POC) for review and assignment. |
Note: The task will be assigned to the office that last had the program if the current office does not process the program related to the Recovery Account.
