CalSAWS Reminders and Case Flags

CalSAWS Reminders

Reminders are prompts for actions to be taken on an assigned case. Reminders are created by individual workers and do not follow the case. The Reminder Detail section allows you to access and add Reminders.The following process must be adhered to when creating a Reminder in CalSAWS.

The Reminders pop-up window allows you to access and manage reminder information for a case or Resource. It includes three sections. The Reminder List section allows you to access a list of Reminders, access Reminder details and clear Reminders. The List Options section allows you to search for Reminders. CalSAWS Case Flags

Case flags indicate a county, state or federal study; special investigation inquiries, quality control or quality assurance inquiries; or other purposes. Case flags follow the case.

There are two case flag categories: Reporting and Worker Action Flag.

  1. The Reporting Flag may be used when a county, state, or federal study is being conducted or for other tracking purposes as designated by the County.
  2. The Worker Action Flag indicates a worker action is needed to address the flag and may have a due date.
